Manjar de leche
Manjar de leche is made with pasteurized cow's milk and caramelized sugar. It is cooked over low heat for up to ten hours and has a slightly salty caramel flavor to it. It is traditionally served on toast or with fresh fruit. It comes in a 10 lb tub and can be portioned out to smaller sizes.
It is made by Agricola Pucuhuaico Dairy in Ibarra, Ecuador.
